Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Gexpense. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Effective 19 September 2026

The service

Gexpense helps you organise expense records in your Google Sheets and attachments in your Google Drive. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. Keep your Google account secure and provide accurate information.

Your content and Google account

You retain ownership of your receipts, expense records and other content. You give us permission to process that content only as needed to provide the service. You are responsible for your content, your Google account, your records and any backups you require. Revoking Google access may stop parts of Gexpense from working.

Acceptable use

Do not use Gexpense unlawfully; upload content you lack the right to use; interfere with or bypass security, limits or billing; introduce malicious code; scrape or overload the service; or use it to harm others. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users or comply with law.

Receipt scanning and records

Scanned fields are automated suggestions and may be incomplete or wrong. You must review them before saving. Gexpense is not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice, and does not replace professional advice or your record-keeping obligations.

Plans, billing and cancellation

Plan features and prices are shown before purchase. Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the displayed billing period until cancelled. You can manage or cancel through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period unless stated otherwise. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We will give reasonable notice of material price changes, and you may cancel before they apply.

Availability and third parties

We may maintain, change or discontinue features and do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Gexpense depends on services such as Google, Stripe, hosting and receipt-processing providers; their own terms and availability also apply. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.

Liability and consumer rights

To the extent permitted by law, Gexpense is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights, guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. Where liability can lawfully be limited, it is limited to resupplying the service or the cost of doing so, at our option.

Ending use and changes

You may stop using Gexpense at any time. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches, legal requirements or security risks, with reasonable notice where practicable. We may update these terms and will give reasonable notice of material changes. If you do not agree, you may stop using the service and cancel before the change applies.

Governing law and contact

Victorian law governs these terms, and the courts of Victoria, Australia have jurisdiction. Email questions to jaime.wu011@gmail.com.
